The intersection of Trust Law and the Uniform Commercial Code has historically been confusing to almost everyone.  The pitfalls have become more common with the growth and expansion of trusts.  This one hour seminar by CT attempts to crystalize some of the key points, including examples that can be used as guideposts for those legal professionals that work in this field.

The presentation will provide an overview of the fundamental features of chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code and clarify basic Bankruptcy Code issues and practical features of bankruptcy litigation. Participants will have an opportunity to learn dos and don’ts of representing creditors and get a practical insight into the bankruptcy court system.
All sessions will be hosted on IPA's newest member benefit, IPA Connect, and are all FREE for IPA members. Prospective members can attend the entire series for the low cost of $75, or may join the IPA for 2021 and receive the added benefit of dual membership in the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) as well as FREE attendance at all 2021 lunch-and-learns, virtual networking events, and discounted registration for the IPA's Fall Education Conference.

Registration on IPA Connect is required (members will need to be logged in to the IPA Connect platform to register for FREE - if you don't remember your password, enter your email address associated with your IPA membership and click to reset your password). All of these sessions have also been added to the IPA website Calendar of Events - so feel free to click on the events you plan to attend and then click the little calendar icon to add the event to your calendar!

When it is time to join one of the webinars, you will log into IPA Connect, click on Events, then on Conferences, and join the live event.
