"Will certifications help advance your career?"  Networking Event

We will be discussing the power of certifications as career leverage in the areas of litigation, e-discovery, cybersecurity, and privacy.  This presentation and networking event is specifically geared toward litigation and corporate paralegals who work in the e-discovery, cybersecurity, privacy, and/or compliance fields. We will hear from our panelists on a variety of topics including the value of obtaining a certification to stay current and/or expand your career options, hiring trends, and related compensation.

Panelists:

Sandra M. M. Gentile, RP, CEDS, SPHR, Director at Kirkland & Ellis
Sandra is a results-driven, detail-oriented Director with 20+ years of management, human resources, paralegal and project management experience in a demanding Big Law firm environment. She manages and supports hiring, onboarding, assignment, training, development and performance management of over 200 employees for staffing some of the largest cases and transactions in the legal industry for Fortune 500 clients.  She is also responsible for consulting, developing, implementing, administering and managing general litigation and investigation related projects including government inquiries and internal investigations.

Andrea Homier CEDS,  e-discovery paralegal, Litigation Support Coordinator at McAndrews, Held & Malloy
Andrea is a certified E-discovery Specialist (CEDS) and has proven project management and consultative skills, including the ability to create organizational frameworks and attend closely to detail without losing sight of the big picture.  She has 22 years of legal experience in e-discovery, commercial law and government relations, specializing in complex litigation, including patent, antitrust, and white collar crime, with extensive e-discovery management throughout (from preservation and collection through production), and trial experience. She is a relationship builder known for responsiveness, clear communication, professionalism, and service excellence.

Kirk Chocholek, Senior Project Manager at QDiscovery
Kirk is a certified Relativity Master who has been working in eDiscovery since 2011. He joined QDiscovery as a Senior Project Manager in 2017. Kirk brings an impressive technical skillset and is often brought into projects to handle complex data scenarios, advanced analytics or RAR support. As a leading member of QDiscovery’s Data Strategy and Relativity Support department, he applies industry best practices to meet clients’ specific needs while assuring successful outcomes to projects. Kirk holds a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and is a member of the bar of the State of Illinois.
